songs of innocence.

(stunning art by P.B)

Radiant Dragon is no stranger to the blogs, i'd hope you all are fully acquainted already. if not, Radiant Dragon, aka Larry, has been responsible for creating some of the prettiest, freshest sounds of the past year or so. oriental inspired, cosmic music that can calm even the most tense of moods but still leave you feeling the urge to dance weirdly. having turned his hand to a few intelligent remixes already, Radiant Dragon returns with his most spaced out musical vision thus far. gorgeous.

speak in prose.

19 year old Hannah 'Shark' has been making music for five years. her latest effort, FOE, is ridiculously impressive. with vocals as sweet as syrup backed with thundering bass lines and the mesmerising sound of angular guitars her brand of twisted pop has left me craving more. check ittt.

002: old and found.

competition time!

to be in with a chance of winning one of these fabulous canvas bags from the lovely Young & Lost Club, just tell me the original band name of the Y&LC alumni that went on to achieve "indie superstardom" as White Lies.

easiest question ever?? i've only got two bags up for grabs so hop to it.

email: yorkiethegreatest@gmail.com with your answer and your postal address. competition closes Monday 15th March.

don't say never.

Treasure started out on a rainy summer's day in Liverpool. combining a love of Hall and Oates choruses with trippy electronics and a hazy, summertime glow, the intriguing two piece have captivated me with their sounds. there's an album out in May on US label Waaga.

theo.

sorry about my abysmal February blogging (or lack of). let me make it up to you with an ~eXclUSive~* download.

Apples, who i have written about before, from Hereford release their next single 'Theo' on Popular Records on April 26th. delectable indie pop given a samba re-work from Finland's Zebra & Snake. what a way to kick start the month. party in the office anyone?
