Cassette Kids are back in the UK yaaay. i posted about them a while ago, but here's a re-cap.

still young and cherub faced (cherubs with bumfluff), Cassette Kids have yet to release their debut album despite having been around for nearly 3 years. they make youthful, slick, electro-tastic pop-punk and i'm still excited to see what's fresh poppin' out of their boxxxx.

i'm not entirely sure how i've gone so long without writing about this band. a demo of theirs plopped itself into my iTunes last October and ever since i have been craving more and more material.

Cassette Kids hail from Sydney, Australia, and they're a fiesty little four piece. singer, Katrina, yelps and roars over fuzzy guitars that sound akin to Yeah Yeah Yeahs. their drums pound away infectiously, which only adds to their pop perfection. don't mistake them for another Operator Please because these guys are in an entire league of their own.
